Position: Construction Superintendent
UGL is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to work on our Pet Dam Upgrade project.
The work involves upgrading existing Water Treatment Plants or reviewing alternative options, including increasing treated water storage to enhance water quality and supply for the Tasmanian community.
This project aims to improve water quality, ensure a more reliable water supply, and increase treated water capacity to meet current and future needs in regional Tasmanian towns.
This is a fixed-term contract until June 2026, with travel required across various sites in Tasmania.
About the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO)
The CDO ensures the cost-effective and timely delivery of quality capital projects, managing the entire program from inception through planning, design, procurement, to delivery. We seek individuals who will contribute to upcoming long-term projects.
Daily Responsibilities
1. Providing relevant information to Project Managers to ensure safe, timely, within-budget, and quality project delivery;
2. Ensuring subcontractors adhere to safety and safety requirements;
3. Visiting project sites to verify compliance with standards and contract requirements;
4. Maintaining records in project management systems for accuracy and accessibility.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience as a Project Supervisor in the water/wastewater sector;
* Advanced knowledge of team management, control systems, and site expertise;
* Ability to build stakeholder relationships at all levels;
* Strong team management and organizational skills.

* AQF Certificate II in Construction or equivalent;
