Job Description
United Quickstop Broome is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail fuel and convenience store at Cable Beach. The Retail Manager will be responsible for organising and controlling the day‐to‐day operations of the retail establishment; determining product mix, stock levels, and service standards; formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, including setting prices; promoting and advertising the store's goods and services; selling goods and services and advising customers on product use; maintaining accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions; preparing budgets and monitoring financial performance; recruiting, training, supervising, and managing staff; ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
* Organise and control day‐to‐day retail operations.
* Determine product mix, stock levels, and service standards.
* Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies, including pricing.
* Promote and advertise store goods and services.
* Sell goods/services and advise customers on product use.
* Maintain accurate stock and financial records.
* Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance.
* Recruit, train, supervise, and manage staff.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills
* AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2), or equivalent; or at least one year of relevant retail management experience.
* Strong leadership and staff management skills.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service abilities.
* Experience in stock control, budgeting, and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
