FinXL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join a collaborative team of professionals within a large Federal Government Agency.
In this role, you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of ICT projects and programs. You will focus closely on business readiness and transition-to-operations processes, ensuring a seamless flow of services across various business and delivery branches. This position is offered on a hybrid basis, with a preference for candidates located in Canberra, Brisbane, or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage project scheduling, tracking milestones, and coordinating daily tasks to ensure delivery within agreed timeframes.
* Draft and maintain high-quality project documentation, including Project Plans, risk registers, financial reports, transition documentation, and Executive papers.
* Assist with program governance activities, tracking decision logs, risks, issues, and overall status updates.
* Act as a central point of contact, liaising effectively between business and technical teams to resolve roadblocks and coordinate approvals.
* Assist leadership with the allocation, tracking, and management of project resources.
Technical Skill & Experience
* Proven experience coordinating IT project or program delivery, covering schedules, budgets, resources, and risks.
* Strong background working within Agile project frameworks and large delivery teams.
* Exceptional written communication skills, with a track record of drafting executive-level papers, risk registers, and formal project plans.
* Demonstrated experience managing contracts and procurement activities in alignment with government guidelines.
* Proficiency with enterprise IT project tools, specifically the MS Office Suite and Azure DevOps.
