Position Overview: Oversee scheduling and coordination of projects within our organization. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments, aligning project timelines and implementing best practices to enhance overall efficiency and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain master project schedules that encompass all departments and project phases.
* Collaborate with department heads, project managers, and team leads to ensure alignment of project schedules with overall business objectives.
* Identify dependencies, critical paths, and potential bottlenecks and proactively adjust schedules as needed.
* Regularly update stakeholders on project status, change and schedule adjustments.
* Implement best practices and tools to streamline scheduling procedures and enhance project outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a master scheduler, project scheduler or similar role
* Proficiency in project management software and tools such as, Microsoft Project, Primavera, P6 or equivalent.
* Strong analytical and problem soling skills with a strategic mindset.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder management
* Attention to detail and the ability to identify interdependencies and critical paths.
* Experience in risk assessment and management within project scheduling.
