Apprentice Distribution Lineworker Program
Be part of Australia's dynamic and evolving energy future and energise your career with hands‐on experience, professional development, and nationally recognised qualifications. This four‐year program will enable you to complete a Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead while gaining practical experience on site and attending TAFE.
What You'll Be Doing
* Construct, maintain and repair overhead assets
* Operate tools and equipment used in construction and maintenance of the network
* Install and maintain overhead distribution conductors and cables
* Inspect electrical structures and equipment
* Test and verify overhead installations
* Assist with yard and warehouse duties, administration, ground support, and traffic control (where trained)
Qualifications & Requirements
* Be 18 years or older by January 2027
* Have a genuine interest in the energy industry and enjoy working outdoors
* Be physically capable and comfortable working at heights
* Have a great attitude and be eager to be part of a supportive team
* Hold (or be working toward) a Certificate II in Electrotechnology – advantageous but not essential
