About the Role
The Business Development Manager (Digital Services & Platforms) will be a key player in growing our client relationships in the Victorian Government market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate new business opportunities within the Australia and New Zealand market through proactive government agency outreach for SaaS and digital services platform sales.
* Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries, as well as opportunities generated by attending company events and webinars.
* Manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close and communicate any challenges or wins to the team.
Your Impact:
You will be responsible for gaining an understanding of the prospective customer's pain points and educating them on Granicus' value. You will highlight our differentiators, effectively demoing the product over video conference, and guiding them through the sales process.
Requirements:
* A minimum of three years of directly relevant professional experience in business development, account and relationship management.
* Experience working with SaaS and subscription-based contracting mechanisms and sales processes.
* Experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and / or the digital services and platforms industry as well as Government.
