About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and industry-experienced professional to join the School Based Education Support teaching team at TAFE Gippsland.
In the role of Teacher School Based Education Support, the primary responsibilities involve providing support to Online and trainee workplace-based students, delivering high quality training and assessment, creating engaging educational resources, and handling administrative tasks associated with course delivery, whilst supporting the students to develop the practical skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career in the Education Support sector.
At TAFE Gippsland the role of the Teacher is to
* Share knowledge and experience in your specialist area;
* Manage the learning process to enable students to achieve their best;
* Develop and deliver relevant and industry current course material;
* Ensure that their own professional teaching and vocational competence and currency is kept up to date along with licensing requirements.
Qualifications and experience
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent is preferable (if not held, must be willing to undertake the qualification if successful)
* Bachelor of Education (desirable) with experience working in primary or secondary school setting and/or
* Certificate IV in School Based Education Support or equivalent
* Significant industry experience working in primary or secondary school setting
Mandatory requirements:
* Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
* Current Police check (no older than 12 months)
* Current Driver’s Licence
