What You Will Do
* Design, develop, and deliver new features across Opengear’s software platform.
* Drive best practices in code quality, automated testing, and continuous integration.
* Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, product managers, and fellow software engineers to ensure robust, high-performance products.
* Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth and development.
* Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of our product portfolio.
Who You Are and What You Bring
* 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
* Strong experience with Rust or C in a Linux environment.
* Experience with Python for automation, tooling, or testing.
* A proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a collaborative team environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Nice to Have
* Experience with networking technologies, protocols, and security.
