Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team in a long-term capacity.
Position Overview
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, leading the team, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for guests. This is a full-time permanent role ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality management, with an annual salary of $79,000-$85,000 plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day front and back-of-house operations
* Supervise and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service
* Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety standards
* Handle rostering, timesheets, and performance management
* Maintain inventory, monitor stock levels, and liaise with suppliers and kitchen staff
* Monitor budgets, sales targets, and restaurant profitability
* Address customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain food quality and service standards
Skills and Experience Required
* Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification is preferred
* At least 3 years of relevant full-time experience in a Restaurant Manager or similar hospitality management role
* Proven experience in cost control and people management
* Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a busy restaurant workplace
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem‐solving skills
* Knowledge of food safety, WHS, and hospitality compliance requirements
* Experience in rostering, stock control, and budgeting
Salary and Conditions
* Annual salary between $79,000 and $85,000 plus superannuation
* Employment Type: Full-time Permanent (38 hours per week)
* Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
