Overview
Purpose Lead. Patient-Centred. The perfect place to launch your RM career! Our twelve-month Graduate Midwife Program is built around helping you become a confident, autonomous midwife, not just competent, but genuinely ready to lead care and make decisions that matter. The program includes a clinical support framework with mentorship and, subject to available positions, a combined RN/RM placement consisting of 7 months in maternity rotations and 5 months in an acute ward placement.
You will rotate through the full scope of midwifery practice at our Fitzroy maternity unit, covering antenatal and postnatal care, special care nursery, birth suite, and elective caesarean theatre lists. A team of experienced midwives, clinicians and educators will support your growth. We value collaboration and believe when our midwives thrive, families do too.
