Senior Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator
The Work Health and Safety team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking a Senior Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator on a permanent basis.
As the Senior Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator, you will:
* Develop tailored strategies to improve safe and sustainable return to work outcomes and reduce workplace injury, claims costs and durations.
* Prepare and provide reporting and analysis against rehabilitation key performance indicators and metrics to demonstrate improvement and enable continuous improvement of rehabilitation processes.
* Provide advice and support to workers, senior management, and team leaders.
* Monitor trends and influence external stakeholders to minimise the impact of injury or illness and assist the prompt, safe, and sustainable return to work.
About the Team
The Work Health and Safety Unit provides work health and safety advisory, support, investigation, rehabilitation and return to work support, audits, and assessment services to MHHS service groups, business units and facilities across Mackay Hospital and Health Service. The Unit is within the People and Culture Division supporting safety and wellbeing initiatives.
