Trainee Transport Supervisor
We're hiring a Trainee Transport Supervisor to support our linen delivery operations—servicing hospitals, aged care homes, hotels, and industrial customers. No two days are the same.
As part of a structured traineeship, you'll learn how to:
* Plan and coordinate delivery runs
* Keep drivers moving and routes on track
* Maintain safety, CoR, and vehicle standards
* Communicate with customers and solve issues fast
* Master our transport systems and fleet tracking
About the Role
You'll support the safe and efficient transport of linen across hospitals, aged care homes, hotels, and industrial customers. Working closely with senior supervisors, you'll learn how to manage scheduling, operational constraints, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and allocating transport runs for deliveries and returns
* Monitor driver progress and respond to delays or breakdowns
* Ensure correct loading/unloading to avoid cross‐contamination
* Support CoR compliance, fatigue management, and vehicle safety checks
* Help with incident investigations and hazard reporting
* Conduct daily driver briefings and support performance monitoring
* Communicate with customers on delivery windows, service changes, or issues
* Maintain transport system data, including route times and fleet tracking
* Participate in structured training and supervisor shadowing

* Time‐management and problem‐solving ability
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment
* Basic computer competency (email, Excel, scheduling systems)
* High attention to detail with strong safety awareness
* Flexibility in working hours when required
Preferred
* Experience in transport, logistics, or linen operations
* Understanding of delivery runs or route planning
* MR licence or above
* Exposure to load restraint and safety practices
