Who will you be working with?
Wabtec's Digital Intelligence Signaling & Systems team is a recognized industry leader in the successful delivery of complex integrated system projects. These projects involve signaling, train control, communications, and back‐of‐office solutions with a strong focus on project execution, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
How will you make a difference?
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Electrical Supervisor will supervise an electrical team to carry out installation works as per design & specifications. The Electrical Supervisor works closely with engineers and other project staff to establish design criteria ensuring project goals are met.
Responsibilities
* Promote and ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management systems are implemented and adhered to.
* Supervise an electrical team to carry out installation works as per design & specifications.
* Support in developing, implementing and monitoring progress of construction plans in respect of time, cost and quality.
* Monitor construction work for compliance with engineering design specifications, client standards and statutory regulations.
* Develop individual and team competence.
* Conduct Toolbox and Safe Talks.
* Installation and maintenance of railway signalling equipment including (but not limited to) Signals, Train stops, Point Machines, Track Circuits, Level Crossings and other wayside items.
Where is the position located?
The operating sites are located Northside Brisbane to Beerwah, QLD.
Qualifications
* Electrical / Electrical Mechanic License
* Certificate IV in Rail Signaling
* Substantial experience working as a supervisor in the railway industry
* Competent user of the Microsoft Office Suite
* Construction White / Blue Card
* Rail Industry workers card
* Clean Driver's License
* Practical & organisational skills.
