Job Title: In-Home Cleaning Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to provide high-quality cleaning services to our elderly residents in their own homes.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have excellent communication skills, and be committed to maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, and removing rubbish.
* Adjust cleaning techniques to suit individual homes while respecting the participant's space and privacy.
* Approach every situation with empathy, care, and discretion.
* Use cleaning products safely and comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols.
Requirements
* No professional cleaning experience required – full training is provided.
* Reliable car and valid driver's license (required).
* Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Up-to-date COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (required).
* Flexibility to work in diverse environments and interact respectfully with people of all abilities.
* Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
