Position Overview
Due to continued business growth and increasing demand for security solutions, we are seeking an experienced Sales Representative (Industrial Products) to support our expansion in the commercial and industrial market.
This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, promoting security solutions, and delivering tailored service offerings to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from client engagement through to contract finalisation. This role is critical to supporting business growth through client acquisition and expansion of security service contracts. The role includes responsibility for achieving sales targets and contributing to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within commercial and industrial sectors to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
* Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets
* Promote and sell security solutions including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and integrated surveillance services
* Conduct client consultations and site visits to assess requirements and recommend suitable solutions
* Prepare quotations, proposals, and cost estimates based on client needs and project scope
* Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements with business clients
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to support repeat business and contract renewals
* Liaise with internal technical and operations teams to ensure accurate service delivery
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
* Maintain accurate records of sales pipelines, client interactions, and business development activities
* Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify further business opportunities
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
* Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant full time experience in industrial, technical, or B2B sales
* Demonstrated experience in B2B or solution-based sales environments
* Ability to assess client requirements and deliver tailored solutions
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills
* Ability to manage sales cycles, from lead generation through to contract finalisation
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
Additional Requirements (Highly Regarded)
* Experience in the security systems, electronics, or construction-related industries
* Understanding of compliance standards and installation requirements within commercial environments
* Ability to coordinate with technical teams and manage multi-stage projects
