Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Stewarding Team Leader to join their team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, NT.
As the team leader, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness across all food and beverage production areas and outlets. You will oversee daily stewarding operations and lead a team of kitchen stewards in a fast‐paced kitchen environment.
Hourly rate of $30.67 + superannuation + penalties.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support the stewarding team
* Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are met
* Coordinate dishwashing, waste management, and kitchen cleaning
* Support kitchen and food & beverage teams as required
* Ensure all buffets and functions are set up and cleared efficiently
Qualifications
* Previous stewarding or kitchen experience in a leadership role
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Sound understanding of HACCP principles with a focus on safety
* Ability to work across a 7-day roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
