We are a boutique village style not-for-profit facility located in Roselands, seeking an enthusiastic and proactive full-time Assistant Accountant.

About the role
Our staff work holistically to provide high-quality care and services to our residents based on interactions that are engaging, compassionate and considerate to their individual needs, preferences, identity, culture & diversity.

* Process accounts payable and receivable, including resident billing and supplier payments.
* Reconcile bank accounts weekly and assist with payroll when required.
* Maintain reconcile of various accounts on regular basis.
* Liaise with Services Australia and Medicare on payment related matters.
* Assist with monthly reports, budgets, and audits.
* Maintain ATO compliance assist with PAYG and BAS.
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Other ad-hoc tasks
Skills & Experience
* Minimum Diploma in Accounting or higher
* 2+ years local experience in accounting, ideally in aged care or NFP sector.
* Knowledge of different billing software is an advantage.
* Proficiency in MYOB/Xero and Excel.
* Strong attention to detail, communication, and integrity.
* Eager to learn and grow.
* Hold a current Police Check.
