Premium IT is seeking a skilled ICT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role based in Bibra Lake, you will be providing first-line technical support and onsite assistance to our valued business clients across a range of IT systems and software. As a crucial member of our IT support team, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients' technology needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Candidates must hold a current driver's licence for onsite client visits and travel requirements.
What you'll be doing
* Provide prompt and courteous technical support to end-users via phone, email and in-person
* Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, implementing appropriate solutions
* Perform installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, applications and peripherals
* Document all support activities and maintain detailed records of incidents and resolutions
* Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide guidance on optimal technology usage
* Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed
* Continuously expand your technical knowledge to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments
What we're looking for
* 1-2 years of experience in an IT help desk or technical support role, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and common business software and applications
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
* Effective communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
* A positive, customer‐centric attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Relevant technical certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) are highly desirable but not required
* Australian citizenship is required for this position
