Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Assessor to join our team. As a Motor Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing and quantifying motor claims, ensuring sound outcomes that meet member expectations and uphold the integrity of our insurance products.
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional member experience, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support safe, effective vehicle repairs.
* Assess and quantify motor claims in a timely and cost-effective manner
* Apply technical knowledge to ensure repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards
* Build rapport with members and provide empathetic support, including for those experiencing vulnerability
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes
* Maintain compliance with codes, including WH&S and risk management
Requirements
* Trade qualifications in Panel Beating, Spray Painting, or Motor Mechanics
* 3–5 years of relevant experience (5–7 years desirable)
* Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage time, tasks, and priorities effectively
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence (mandatory)
