The Identity Architect & Presales Lead acts as the Technical Engine of Infotrust's Continuous Identity Assurance service. This role provides the deep technical credibility required to win enterprise identity engagements and designs the architectural frameworks implemented by SOC and Engineering teams.
Operating in the "two-in-a-box" model with the Head of Identity, this role bridges client requirements, technical architecture, and Infotrust's integrated security vision.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Sales Enablement
* Lead client design sessions to translate complex business requirements into high-level identity architectures
* Support presales activities with technical assurance, solution design, and architectural credibility
* Partner with sales and consulting teams during deal pursuit
* Act as the primary technical authority in complex identity opportunities
* Support RFP and solution responses
Solution Blueprinting
* Design standard configurations across:
o Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
o Privileged Access Management (PAM)
o CIAM and Access Management
* Ensure solutions align with Infotrust's integrated security vision
* Define scalable and secure identity reference architectures
* Balance security controls with user experience and operational practicality
Pre-Authentication Defence Design
* Partner with Threat Intelligence teams to build playbooks that leverage external threat context (e.g., stolen credentials)
* Design approaches that inform internal access decisions using identity risk signals
* Enable identity telemetry ingestion into SOC and detection platforms
* Support Continuous Identity Assurance monitoring patterns
Proof of Concept and Emerging Technology Leadership
* Lead technical evaluations and prototyping of emerging identity technologies
* Provide architectural oversight for:
o Non-Human Identity (NHI) governance
o Machine and service identity
o AI-driven identity security platforms
* Evaluate new vendors and identity capabilities
* Maintain forward-looking technical point of view
Standards and Enablement
* Define and maintain identity reference architectures and technical guardrails
* Build reusable design patterns for delivery teams
* Enable SOC and consulting teams through documentation and knowledge transfer
* Contribute to internal playbooks and capability uplift
Success Measures
* Presales technical win rate
* Quuality and adoption of reference architectures
* Client technical confidence and feedback
* Contribution to differentiated identity offerings
* Enablement effectiveness across delivery teams
Ideal BackgroundExperience
* 7–10+ years in Identity and Access Management or Cyber Security
* Strong hands-on IAM architecture experience
* Proven presales or client-facing solution design background
* Experience integrating identity with SOC or SIEM environments highly desirable
* Consulting, MSSP, or complex enterprise background preferred
Technical Depth
Experience across several of:
* Okta, Ping Identity, Saviynt, SailPoint, Microsoft Entra
* IGA, PAM, Access Management
* Identity federation and modern authentication protocols
* Cloud identity platforms (Entra, AWS, GCP)
* SIEM/XDR integrations
* API and workload identity
Capabilities
* Strong client-facing communication skills
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executives
* Commercial awareness in presales environments
* Structured architectural thinking
* High credibility with senior technical stakeholders
Desirable Certifications
* CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
* IAM vendor certifications
* TOGAF or equivalent
