About the Role of the Contracts Administrator
The Contract administrator's primary function is to provide clients with first class contract services.
Main Duties for Contract Administrator
* Measuring and describing the work including the preparation of tender documentation and negotiation with contractors and clients
* Must be able to design a full sub-contractors contract
* Must have experience in dealing principal contractors
* Preparing and using detailed budgets and cost plans
* Preparing and interpreting turnover / cash flow projections and profit / loss forecasts
* Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations
* Preparing and presentation of financial control
Successful Contract Administrator must have:
* Proven experience in Cost Management, Contract administration or QS role.
* Must of Industrial projects background
* Tertiary qualified: Minimum Associate Diploma (engineering or Quantity surveying) or minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role.
* Business understanding (market knowledge in area of work)
* Proven skills in dispute resolution and negotiation.
