Position Title: Waiter Supervisor
Location: Margaret River region, South West WA
Salary: AUD 70,000-80,000 p.a + superannuation payments
Position Summary
The Waiter Supervisor is responsible for supporting and supervising front-of-house food and beverage service operations to ensure efficient service delivery, high-quality customer experiences and compliance with operational standards. This role requires strong customer service capability, supervisory skills and the ability to coordinate service operations within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support waitstaff and food and beverage attendants during service periods
* Ensure customers are served in a professional, timely and attentive manner across dining and beverage service areas
* Deliver high-quality table service, including food and beverage ordering and delivery
* Deliver high-quality customer service
* Assist with reservations, seating arrangements, section allocation and workflow coordination
* Supervise, coordinate and train front-of-house staff to maintain service standards and operational efficiency
* Maintain knowledge of menus, wine offerings, specials and food and beverage service procedures
* Monitor cleanliness, table presentation and service standards across dining areas
* Handle guest enquiries, feedback and basic complaint resolution in a professional manner
* Support stock control and service operations within food and beverage service areas
* Assist with balancing cash registers, operating POS systems and supporting opening and closing procedures where required
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures and responsible service practices
Essential Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated supervisory experience working in a food and beverage or hospitality environment
* Strong customer service and communication skills within a fast-paced hospitality environment
* Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards, wine service and customer care
* Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain service standards during busy operational periods
* Experience operating POS systems and undertaking cash handling responsibilities is highly regarded
* Ability to deliver premium-level hospitality service and provide menu and wine guidance to customers
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work full-time, year-round including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
* Experience working within premium hospitality, tourism or wine-focused venues is highly regarded
Qualifications
* Hold at least a relevant AQF Certificate II or III qualification (or equivalent), or
* At least 1 year of relevant, full-time experience may substitute for the formal qualification listed above.

* At least 2 years of full-time, relevant work-experience
