Role
Step into a professional team within a large‐scale industrial setting. Utilise your expertise and commitment to safety to lead boiler operation. Your role will be to:
* Operate and monitor boilers, refrigeration systems, compressors, and associated plant machinery;
* Ensure safe operation in accordance with WHS legislation, site procedures, and manufacturer guidelines;
* Conduct routine inspections, checks, and log readings;
* Respond to alarms, faults, and abnormal operating conditions;
* Perform start‐ups, shutdowns, isolations, and changeovers;
* Coordinate with maintenance and production teams;
* Assist with planned maintenance and shutdown activities;
* Maintain accurate operational records and compliance documentation;
* Report hazards, incidents, and equipment defects promptly.
What experience are we looking for?
* Current HRWL – Advanced Boiler Operation (ABO) (mandatory)
* Experience operating industrial boilers and refrigeration systems
* Sound knowledge of boiler water chemistry and treatment
* Strong understanding of WHS and safe operating procedures
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Good communication and record‐keeping skills
* Willingness to work shifts – 5on/4off, 4on/5off, 5on/5off etc.
