Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Geologist to lead our geotechnical initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice on geotechnical matters, managing the assessment of geotechnical design solutions against technical criteria, and leading complex projects to a successful outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate geological activities, including soil and groundwater sampling, and oversee contractors during drilling operations.
* Develop and implement geological management systems and plans to ensure project success.
* Support construction teams in achieving required criteria by providing technical expertise.
* Assist in reviewing design modifications and offering technical advice to stakeholders.
Requirements:
* A recognised tertiary qualification in engineering, geology, or a relevant geoscience field.
* A valid White Card.
* At least 5 years of experience in construction geological/engineering roles.
