Ecological Restoration Role
Our council is seeking a skilled professional to join our natural environment team. You will play a vital role in delivering ecological restoration, revegetation, and maintenance services for our bushlands and reserves.
The ideal candidate will have experience with plant identification, weed management, and monitoring environmental sites. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with the community and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake weed and plant identification
* Monitor plants for weeds, pests, and diseases and identify appropriate treatments
* Use a range of minor plant and equipment
* Monitor environmental sites
* Support community planting and volunteer activities
