About the Role
We are looking for an Area Manager to join the growing team on a permanent, full‐time basis, covering the Southeast of South Australia. As an Elders Area Manager, you will be responsible for sales performance and driving growth and efficiency outcomes in the area. This is a senior management role where you will manage all aspects of Area operations, including oversight of branches. Your team‐management skills will allow you to support sales staff and empower them to grow with the help of an experienced network.
Responsibilities
* Inspire and motivate your team to maximise their potential
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to provide personalised recommendations and strengthen their business growth
* Manage the performance and development of employees within the area
* Cultivate new sales opportunities to strengthen Elders' presence
* Actively participate in strategy and planning for the area and state
* Drive the marketing and promotion of all Elders products
* Prioritise the safety of staff and clients, and actively contribute to Elders' zero‐harm culture
* Coach and mentor staff in identifying and developing new sales opportunities
Qualifications
* Experienced leader with in‐depth knowledge of the agricultural industry, including product and sales management
* Effective at leading and motivating a diverse team toward the achievement of annual sales and earnings targets
* Comfortable and proactive in a collaborative and agile working environment
* Resourceful, forward‐thinking, and passionate about effecting real change for clients and the community
* Recognises people as the most important asset
* Capable of delivering high‐level customer service and cultivating client relationships
* Proven capabilities in operations, people and sales management, and strong negotiation skills
