To provide our guests with consistent high quality ecotourism experiences through small group trekking tours on the spectacular Larapinta Trail in Central Australia.
About the role
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the team!
We have an active and enjoyable role available for an Operations Assistant. Based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. This is a hands-on role where your exceptional eye for detail and organisational skills are key. You will be assisting with the pre trip preparations to ensure our treks and guides begin with everything they need to provide an exceptional experience for our guests on the Larapinta Trail! You will also be assisting in ensuring our camps are kept running smoothly. This is a varied role with a range of tasks including food ordering, trailer packing, vehicle checks & washing and logistics drives to name a few. It's a lot of fun and you will be part of a professional, friendly and passionate team.
We are looking for someone with:
* Excellent attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Ability to competently drive a manual vehicle & tow trailers
* 4WD experience required
* Sound Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word & Excel) are a huge advantage
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A positive attitude.
Required Qualifications:
* Light Rigid Driver's license with H endorsement
* Current Provide First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain
* Current CPR Certificate or ability to obtain
* Food Safety Certificate Level 1 or ability to obtain.
Hours of work
This is a casual contract position for approximately 3 months from early June to mid September.
You can expect between 30 & 40 hours per week, weekend work will be required.
Remuneration
$32.35 per hour plus penalties for Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays.
