About ANZCHOG

ANZCHOG is the national Cancer Cooperative Trials Group (CCTG) for childhood and adolescent cancer clinical trials and conducts a broad range of national and international trials. ANZCHOG is also the Australian and New Zealand peak professional body for paediatric oncologists and other health professionals caring for children and adolescents with cancer and blood diseases. ANZCHOG is a registered charity and not‐for‐profit organisation.

About the Opportunity

Step into a pivotal role at the heart of ANZCHOG's operations, where your skills directly enable a national organisation advancing treatments for children and adolescents with cancer. As Operations and Project Support Officer, you will provide high‐level operational, administrative, and project support across ANZCHOG's organisational, research, and strategic activities. Working closely with the ANZCHOG leadership team and a wide network of internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in keeping governance processes running smoothly, coordinating complex projects, and enabling the seamless delivery of initiatives across ANZCHOG's national network. The role offers genuine variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to an organisation making a real difference in paediatric oncology.

About You

* Demonstrated experience in operations support, project coordination, or a similar role.
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Proven experience coordinating complex meetings, events, or projects involving multiple organisations or stakeholder groups.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders professionally and collaboratively.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem‐solving abilities.
* Proficiency with contemporary office productivity suites (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or equivalent).
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Experience in healthcare, research, not‐for‐profit, or clinical trial environments will be highly regarded.
* Experience supporting governance processes, committees or boards will be highly regarded.
* Experience in executive support will be highly regarded.
* Understanding of project management principles or experience supporting research projects will be highly regarded.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

This position is a full‐time (1.0 FTE) contract role. Salary is based on the Technical and Professional Scale (TAP 6) dependent on experience. Superannuation of 12% and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
