GHD's Wide Bay team is expanding. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer based in Bundaberg or Hervey Bay to strengthen our electrical capabilities across the region.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support projects in Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Local Government, Lighting and Building Services.
* Work with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
* Manage project resources and maintain budgets.
* Conduct site inspections and kick‐off meetings.
* Assist other electrical engineers on larger projects.
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering; Chartered status (e.g., CPEng, RPEQ) highly desirable.
* Ideally 5 years experience in an EPC or consulting environment, with significant experience gained in the Australian market.
* Experience in power generation projects (conventional and renewable), detail design, and technical due diligence.
* Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
* Strong written and oral communication skills, including report writing.
* Ability to be a trusted partner to clients and stakeholders.
Location
Based in either Bundaberg or Hervey Bay, within the Wide Bay region.
