Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Validation Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our train setups are prepared and validated on time.
You will work closely with our Validation Manager to implement and verify measuring equipment, develop and validate test tools, and lead the preparation and execution of test activities at train level.
Additionally, you will analyze test results in real-time and make informed decisions on test validity. Your attention to detail and ability to write comprehensive reports will be essential in ensuring the quality of our testing process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and validate train setups to ensure timely completion.
* Implement, verify, and ensure compliance of measuring equipment.
* Develop and validate test tools and measuring equipment.
* Lead the preparation and execution of test activities at train level.
* Real-time analysis of test results and decision-making on test validity.
* Writing comprehensive static and dynamic test reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Grade Electrical Licence is required.
* Experience or understanding of rail systems, including testing or validation of rolling stock and its subsystems.
* Familiarity with EHS rules and LockOut-TagOut procedures.
* Experience with diesel engine will be a plus.
