About the Role
We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Automotive Receptionist to join our busy service department. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring every visit to our workshop is smooth, friendly, and efficient. This role combines customer service, organization, and technical understanding to deliver an exceptional aftersales experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival.
* Record customer details, vehicle information, and service requirements accurately.
* Prepare job cards and coordinate with technicians to schedule work efficiently.
* Provide estimates for repairs and services; obtain customer approval for additional work.
* Communicate clearly between customers and workshop staff regarding vehicle progress.
* Advise customers on maintenance schedules, warranties, and service promotions.
* Handle billing, payments, and completion paperwork.
* Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience in automotive service, customer service, or reception (preferred).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair terminology (an advantage).
* Computer literacy, including experience with service management software.
* Professional appearance and a positive, customer-first attitude
