The role of Area Manager involves managing the execution of approved plans and operational practices to provide reliable network performance for designated assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage allocated teams and contractors to deliver scheduled works across sites in NSW and update systems accordingly.
* Support the workforce in managing construction activities.
* Oversee site inspections, contingency planning, operational handovers, and quality assurance.
* Act as Facility Manager, recommending upgrades to improve network integrity and assess feasibility; investigate, advise and manage incidents and restore normal site conditions from plant equipment, network performance and facilities equipment safety.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience within a network is desirable using ticket-of-work systems.
* Ideal background includes trade or qualification in electrical/mechanical; facilities management experience is highly regarded.
* Effective client relationship management with stakeholders supported by strong communication skills.
