At Hoopla Kitchen & Bar, we are building a destination for families, food lovers, and people looking for a fun, energetic experience.

With the exciting launch of our brand-new Hoopla Pakenham Kitchen & Bar venue, we are searching for an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Venue Manager to lead our venue from day one.

This is a genuine leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments, understands modern café/restaurant operations, and takes pride in building strong team culture, systems, consistency, and quality.

We need the right leader to execute it at a high standard while building and leading an exceptional front of house team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality, loves developing teams, and leads from the front to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

ABOUT HOOPLA

Hoopla is a modern, family-friendly entertainment venue offering:

* Café and dining service

* Parties, functions and corporate events

* Bowling, arcade and entertainment attractions

THE ROLE

As Venue Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, including:

* Leading, training and developing staff

* Running efficient, high-quality service periods

* Managing rosters, labor and controllable costs

* Overseeing stock control and venue operations

* Maintaining food safety, OHS and compliance standards

* Delivering exceptional guest experiences

* Working closely with senior management to drive performance and culture

This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll be expected to lead from the floor, set standards and build a strong team culture. Weekends and public holidays are essential.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

* Previous management experience in hospitality or entertainment venues

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Passion for training and developing staff

* Experience with rostering, labor management and basic financials

* Calm under pressure and highly organised

* Energetic, reliable and professional

* A strong focus on customer experience and team culture

SALARY & BENEFITS

* Salary package between $75,000 – $85,000 + super, depending on experience
