The Role:
You will be part of a dynamic data team who are committed to delivering exceptional work. The role is responsible for the design, development, optimisation and maintenance of data infrastructure and pipelines. Working with cross-functional teams, you will be given autonomy to deliver scalable and robust data solutions that enable decision making, ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders and other developers to understand requirements; design & develop scalable Fabric data pipelines.
* Optimisation of existing data solutions including the support of systems & bug fixes across a range of Fintech products.
* Manage data from multiple sources and consumption of internal/third party APIs.
* ETL/ELT
* Data code reviews, write documentation, ensuring high data quality and coding best practices.
Your Profile:
* A degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
* Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate into data solutions within the financial services domain.
* Strong experience designing and developing data pipelines, ideally in Fabric.
* Good understanding of medallion architecture & dimensional modeling (Kimball) / star schemas.
* Hands-on experience with AI tools & LLMs into data processes and have an interest in growing skillset here.
* ETL/ELT.
* SQL, PySpark, Snowflake, Fabric, Azure.
* Financial services experience in end-to-end loan originations.
* Self-starter & proactive, strong communication skills
You must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship to be considered for this role and be willing to work in the office 5 days per week.
