This role is essential in ensuring nutritious, well-presented meals that meet the diverse needs of Residents in our care.Key ResponsibilitiesTake direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen teamPlan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residentsAssist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock controlPurchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as requiredEnsure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standardsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higherA minimum of one year's experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred)Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable)Experience preparing texture-modified meals ( advantageous )Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleaguesAbout this location:Rosebrook is a beautiful 91 bed residential aged care facility is located at the base of Arthurs Seat in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula.
