The Qualified Conference Organisation (PCO) division of a well-known global events agency is growing and looking for a new Project Coordinator to join their team.
The Role:
This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their career within the PCO or association events sector, while gaining exposure to international best practice and high-profile clients.
- You’ll play a pivotal role in the successful planning and delivery of large-scale conferences, congresses, trade shows, and association events around Australia.
- Working alongside a talented team, you’ll support projects from initial proposal through to reconciliation
- Contacting, contracting and negotiating with suppliers
- Managing event documentation and ensuring deadlines are met
- Budgets and invoice management
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- You will the delegate registration specialist, managing all delegate comms
The Candidate:
You’re an organised and detail-oriented events professional with a strong customer focus and a passion for delivering seamless event experiences. You thrive in a collaborative environment, are comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and take pride in producing high-quality work.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in events within a PCO or association environment (in-house or agency)
- Hands-on experience with EventsAIR is essential
- Tertiary qualification in events, business, marketing, or related field desirable
- Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and project priorities effectively
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility to work extended hours and travel when required
Salary & Benefits:
- $65-70K+
- Hybrid working model – Brisbane office with 2 days WFH each week
