About the role
We are seeking an experienced Plasterer to join our team at S and S Jenkins Plaster Pty Ltd in Melbournes South East Suburbs. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to work on a variety of high end residential projects. As an Experienced Plasterer, you will be responsible for completing high-quality plastering work to industry standards.
Daily Tasks
* Hanging walls and ceilings
* Hand troweling and using box trowels
* Setting metal beads including Externals, P50's and Ezy Reveals
* Laser level battening and suspended ceiling systems
* Cornicing, including ornate cornices, curved moulds and ceiling roses
* Sanding using power sander and hand block sanding
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project delivery
* Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Plasterer in the building and construction industry
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, consistent work
* Knowledge of plastering materials, tools and techniques
* Reliability and willingness to learn new techniques
* Ability to attend job sites unsupervised with own tools
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
* Sub-contractor with ability to move to wages for the right candidate
