Overview
As a civilian General Practitioner working with the Australian Defence Force (ADF), you will provide essential medical care and support to ADF Members.
Responsibilities
Provide expert primary medical care to ADF personnel in outpatient and inpatient settings
Deliver patient-centred, holistic care alongside a multidisciplinary team
Assess fitness for duty and support health before and after deployments
Offer critical medical advice to Joint Health Command leadership
Ensure Defence personnel receive top-tier care wherever they are stationed

Qualifications
Australian Citizenship
(required for Baseline Security Clearance)
General registration with AHPRA
Fellowship with RACGP (FRACGP), ACRRM (FACRRM), or Vocational Registration
At least 2 years of GP experience in the last 5 years
(GPT Registrar rotations counted)
Recent CPD participation aligned with AHPRA requirements
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
