We are seeking an experienced Senior Motion Graphics Designer to join our dynamic design team at WiseTech Academy, where we develop high-quality education and training content for the logistics sector.
Experience in the education or logistics sectors is a plus, as we value industry-specific knowledge and insights. However, we are equally passionate about finding someone who is creative, collaborative, and eager to help shape the future of motion design within our Academy.
About this role
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the creative direction of motion design within the Academy. As a Senior Motion Designer, you will have a direct influence on how our graphic assets are used to enhance learning experiences.
This is an ideal step for someone looking to move beyond execution and contribute more strategically to projects. You will be able to collaborate with a talented team of designers and explore new approaches to presenting learning content.
Key responsibilities
* Design engaging, interactive, and compelling motion graphics, videos, infographics, and learning activities.
* Contributing to the creative direction of projects in partnership with Learning Designers.
* Collaborate with our team of Learning Designers, motion graphics, and 3D designers to maintain high-quality creative standards.
* Oversee the visual and technical delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they align with the creative brief and meet quality expectations.
* Guide our designers to elevate the overall creative output and maintain consistency.
* Contribute to non-courseware design projects, including brand, campaign, and internal communications work.

Required qualifications and skills
* A design-related degree or equivalent experience.
* +5 years of experience in motion graphics, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in video, animation, and illustration.
* Demonstrate expertise/knowledge of industry standard design tools, animation software, and motion graphics production techniques.
* 3D modelling and animation experience.
* Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS platforms.
* Understanding of responsive design and web/mobile UX principles.
