Role: Quality Assurance & Training Officer
To be successful in this role:
Strong knowledge of aged care and NDIS regulatory frameworks, including the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and the Aged Care Act ****
Proven experience in training coordination, quality assurance, or governance within aged care, disability, or health services
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills to support a culture of learning, safety, and accountability
The ability to work collaboratively with managers, clinical leaders, and staff to implement governance processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives
Confidence in delivering engaging, practical training sessions that build staff capability and support person-centred care
A proactive and self-driven approach, with the ability to identify gaps, solve problems, and implement effective solutions
Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities, audits, and compliance deadlines
Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate records, policies, and training documentation to support audit readiness
A passion for promoting dignity, respect, and choice in every aspect of care delivery
Ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and drive innovation in quality and training practices
Essentials:
National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check
Up to date Influenza vaccination
Relevant qualification in health, aged care, disability, education, or quality/business management
Demonstrated experience in training, quality assurance, or governance within aged care, disability, or allied health
