Job Opportunity
* This role encompasses the administration and management of all Human Resources functions, serving as a primary point of contact for team members.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Liaise with senior managers to provide expert advice on HR policies and procedures.
* Act as a liaison between the Area Director of Human Resources - Queensland and the hotel on key HR matters.
* Manage succession planning, including employee development and training programs.
* Handle employee relations issues in a confidential manner, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and capability assessments.
* Ensure absence monitoring aligns with company guidelines.
* Maintain online personnel systems and generate monthly reports.
* Guarantee compliance with recruitment and selection processes, including immigration checks.
* Determine departmental training requirements and develop training plans.
* Ensure completion of essential training modules, including brand orientation, security protocols, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
* Coordinate Workers Compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
* Promote staff recognition and reward initiatives.
* Lead the C.A.R.E Committee (team member committee).
* Foster partnerships with local organizations and schools to promote the hospitality industry.
* Promote and endorse staff benefits.
* Provide support and resolution for team member and management queries.
