We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our friendly team as Events Executive. This is a full-time position based in Mascot, NSW.

Duties include but not limited to:

* Proactively generate new business through lead generation, networking, and responding to enquiries.
* Strong focus on developing/procuring new business through sales appointments, face to face and site inspections with key stakeholders in corporate, government, associations, travel management companies specialising in events, professional conference, organisers and wedding planners.
* Manage the entire sales process from initial enquiry to contract signing.
* Develop tailored proposals and quotations based on client needs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Coordinate and oversee event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and AV requirements.
* Liaise with clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and event details.
* Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the venue.
* Collaborate with marketing to support promotional campaigns and event publicity.
* Assist with basic graphic design tasks and marketing content creation to promote events and sales initiatives.

We are looking for someone with:

* Proven experience in sales, events, or hospitality management preferred.
* Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and marketing knowledge.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
* Customer-focused with a proactive and positive attitude.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as required.
* Full work rights in Australia
