Desktop Support Engineer - Sydney, Australia
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our growing team and play a vital role in supporting enterprise IT operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where your expertise will directly impact business continuity and user productivity.
Location & Schedule
This is an on-site role based in New South Wales, Australia, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
* Perform some Smart Hands support for networking hardware.
* Troubleshoot within Windows / iOS / Android OS support, software installations, and security updates.
* Manage Active Directory tasks.
* Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi‐Fi).
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience providing IT infrastructure support, including hardware, software, and operating system troubleshooting
* Good command of Windows O/S
* Microsoft Office 365 troubleshooting experience
* Wireless networking knowledge
* Understanding of network protocols, server hardware and configurations
* Experience with Active Directory
* Advantage: Basic knowledge of LAN‐WAN setups and concepts
* Must be open to work in a fixed term contract
