The Role
We are looking for an Implementor / Trainer to become part of the Solera Professional Services stream. The role involves becoming an expert in the installation and use of the Hollander Pinnacle product suite, delivering server builds, and training clients on platform usage.
This position is heavily customer-facing and requires strong communication skills, the ability to meet aggressive deadlines, and a proactive attitude.
This is a national role; successful applicants must be prepared to travel extensively across Australia and New Zealand and hold a valid full car driver's license.
What You'll Do
* Perform full technical end-to-end installation, from server unboxing to imaging, workstation installations, printer and handheld device setup and configuration.
* Undertake RedHat server installations and configure servers as required.
* Provide full training of clients in the use of all Hollander software applications virtually as well as on-site at client locations.
* Create training materials and support documentation.
* Generate post-install reports for management.
* Travel countrywide as required.
* Support risk management and mitigation throughout the installation lifecycle, ensuring timely communication of any unresolved risks.
* Keep abreast of all technical developments with the Hollander systems and supporting software, understanding implications of new releases.
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years of professional experience in a desktop/software support role or equivalent IT-related experience.
* Bachelor's degree.
* Previous network and desktop support/service desk/training experience.
* Strong knowledge of Windows PC operating systems (Win8, Win10).
* Firm understanding of Linux RedHat operating environment and SQL database knowledge.
* Ability to install and troubleshoot software and network configurations.
* Capability to manage time and work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
* Maintain strong interpersonal skills, develop comprehensive industry & product knowledge.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A genuine interest in delivering high quality customer service.
* A positive attitude with a willingness to adapt and learn.
* Ability to communicate and work well within a team.
* Current and legally recognised full car driver's license.
* Permanent Australian resident.
Desirable Criteria
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* 2 years' experience in software training.
* Formal qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline.
* Healthy knowledge of motor vehicles and their componentry.
