Overview
Slab and Garden City is looking for an all-rounder Yard person and 5 ton manual tipper driver. Location: Osborne Park, Carlisle and Bayswater (travel to all three locations). Employment type: casual with full-time hours, with the opportunity to move to full-time.
Responsibilities
* Service customers in the garden centre in a professional and polite manner and promote the company's products through sales, demonstrations and displays.
* Deliver soil, sand and mulch to customers' addresses across Perth.
* Assist with yard operations and handling of materials; provide high levels of customer service.
* Manage day-to-day cash sales with excellent communication skills with clientele.
* Operate as part of a team to maintain a safe, clean and organized yard and showroom area.
* Handle physical labor requirements and be able to lift over 20 kg.
Qualifications
* MR Licence is required.
* Forklift licence is required.
* Retail experience.
* Loader experience (an advantage, will train).
* Experience with till balancing.
* Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
* Values alignment with Slab and Garden City policies and procedures.
Additional Details
Roster includes 1 day on the weekend.
