As a Director Workforce Strategy, you will lead a portfolio of workforce strategy initiatives, providing high level strategic and operational advice on workplace relations and governance issues to the ACT Government and directorates.
You will represent the Office of Industrial Relations and Workforce Strategy in managing workplace relations matters, demonstrating leadership, professionalism, judgement and a commitment to delivering quality outputs within tight timeframes whilst maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
You will bring a strategic approach to workforce and employment issues, underpinned by leadership skills, detailed research and analytical skills with a positive team-oriented attitude.
You will be supported to work flexibly, with the expectation to work in the office up to two days per week and will be surrounded by an exceptional team.

Eligibility / Other Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in public sector employment or industrial relations in a diverse organisation is highly desirable.
Notes
This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
