Our team is seeking a motivated and hands‐on Trade Assistant to join our Kalgoorlie workshop.
What you'll be doing
* Support workshop operations with refurbishment of heavy equipment components
* Process goods inwards and outwards
* Lais with various vendors
* Spray paint and wrap components for preservation
* Operate forklifts and workshop equipment safely and efficiently
* Complete daily reports and documentation
* Support continuous improvement and high safety standards across the workshop
* Assist technicians and supervisors with day‐to‐day operational requirements
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a workshop, trades assistant or similar hands‐on role
* Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
* Current manual driver's licence
* Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Comfortable with manual handling (up to 40kg)
* Basic computer skills (tablet, email, reporting)
* Ability to pass pre‐employment checks (medical, D&A, police clearance)
