About the Role
Community Mental Health Services provide a range of services designed to help support the recovery and help consumer stay well in the community. The team provide specialist services for young people, children and families, adults, and older people. Community mental health services include a specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Team, bilingual mental health workers and Peer Support Workers. Our main sites are at Canterbury, Croydon, Camperdown, Marrickville, and Redfern Community Health Services. The role will be based at Camperdown.
The senior mental health housing support clinician is based within the Mobile Assertive Treatment Team which is a tertiary level community mental health team providing care coordinated services to consumers diagnosed with a severe and enduring mental illness who require an enhanced level of support to sustain living in the community. This position works closely with Mission Australia staff to provide care and treatment to consumers living at Common Ground, Camperdown.
This position will be working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm and is based at the King George V Building, RPAH.

* Recognised tertiary qualifications appropriate to profession with experience at Level 2 or higher for allied health. Occupational therapists to have current registration with AHPRA. Social workers to be eligible for membership with AASW.
* Holds an unrestricted NSW driver licence (P2 licence acceptable).
* Experience working with mental health consumers with complex presentations.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Understanding of issues relating to housing support and homelessness.
