This is a full-time position leading the civil law practice primarily in police torts and institutionalised abuse matters. You will also be required to undertake work in other practices from time to time such as family law, wills & estates, conveyancing, and commercial.
Criminal Position
This is a full-time position in the criminal practice appearing for clients charged with summary and indictable offences in the Local Court and instructing Counsel in the District and Supreme Court. The successful candidate will be required to undertake duty work for Legal Aid NSW in the Far North Coast region.
1. Two years post admission experience;
2. Have a practising certificate;
3. The ability to manage a high volume practice;
4. Excellent drafting skills; and
5. A passion for social justice.
The positions represent an prospect for the successful candidate to develop their own practice working under the mentorship of the principal solicitor, Tracey Randall, an accredited criminal specialist of over thirty years experience.
