Clinical Midwife Educator – 10-10k Incentives Offered
A temporary part‐time Clinical Midwife Educator role funded by the Nursing & Midwifery Office (NaMO) provides ongoing support for training and professional development within the Dubbo Health Service's Level 5 Maternity Service.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide structured education programs for staff.
* Support staff capability across diverse and complex case mix.
* Ensure safe, high‐quality care in line with service demands.
* Support telehealth and outreach services to communities up to 400 km away.
About the service: Dubbo Maternity Services averages approximately 1,200 births per year and serves a large catchment, covering around 33% of New South Wales by area. The service offers Level 4 Special Care Nursery and has developed specialised midwifery programs such as diabetes education, Safe Start, and Substance Use in Pregnancy & Parenting Services (SUPPS).
